Summary
This internship role as a Cloud Analyst Developer presents an exciting and unique opportunity for you to take an idea from concept to reality.
Supported by a team of our highly experienced consultants, you will be given the chance to “pitch” your idea for a digital cloud-based product. You’ll be able to provide some evidence of market research and awareness and be passionate about the need for this product.
You will enjoy working with exciting cutting edge cloud technology, meeting people virtually and in person, together with time on your own to digest information and work on elaborating approaches and developing proof of concepts.
You will be provided training, support and career guidance together with significant scope to develop the internship into your areas of greatest interest.
Responsibilities
- Present an idea for a cloud-based product to a team of consultants
- Provide evidence of market research and awareness
- Develop prototypes and proof of concepts, working towards a minimum viable product where appropriate
- Participate in business events to increase contacts and lead generation
Skills & Qualifications
- Working towards a College or University degree, preferably in an IT discipline
- Experience with one or more popular programming languages (e.g. .NET, Java, Python)
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with cloud computing, preferably with AWS or Azure technology
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to develop trust and understanding with others
- Ability to self-organise, prioritise and plan
Duration
- The duration of the internship is for 3 – 4 months.
Training
The company has an on-going commitment to provide a minimum of 5 days of annual professional training to each employee, together with additional on-the-job training. This role will include training on:
- Public cloud technology, including AWS and Azure
- Diagramming technologies, including Diagrams.net and ArchiMate
- Leadership, influencing and presenting skills
Location
This will principally be a remote/home working role, with occasional travel to business events or client sites.
