A public sector organisation were creating a new Cloud Platform and wanted to understand cloud integration and tooling options to enable efficient and secure delivery of new data and services.
Solution
Undertook market analysis and prototyping to demonstrate the considerations for tooling when creating a cloud platform. Provided reference material from AWS, Azure and GCP demonstrating the need to consider a cloud operating model, and how successful cloud adoption typically aligns the operating model to the value of the workload. Provided a summary and lessons learned from previous cloud adoption projects undertaken for different clients.
Outcome
The organisation better understood how to mature their Cloud Platform and could engage in further, deeper discussion with SMEs and delivery partners regarding roles and responsibilities, including creating the first version of their Shared Responsibility Model.
